My thought of the day!

Fuck... Capitalism!

( I was on this website reading an article about "American Psychosis". It brought to light to me a very dark view on our countries problems, but I think some parts of the article certainly had merit, especially the revolution of the individual.) I just want my friends to know this.

The evil of capitalism is that it always promotes itself over the individual "free thinkers" that you assert this nation is full of. Well, first this country has free thinkers but they have far more blind followers and 'whatevers'. You make other assumptions too, such as that capitalism is some sort of virtue in itself. It is not. It is of no intrinsic value one way or another. There are good things about it and there are bad things about it, just as there are good things and bad things about socialism or any other form or type of government that's ever been practiced. Capitalism assumes a singularity of human virtue that does not and cannot exist. If you're waiting for the marke'ts invisible hand to create a more humane society, you're going to wait forever, and the invisible hand will be giving you the invisible finger.
